The Anvil Centre Theatre is presenting Montreal based Rémi Bolduc Jazz Ensemble performing their new production, Tribute to Dave Brubeck, The concert will offer cabaret style seating with table service as well as theatre seating.
The Rémi Bolduc Jazz Ensemble with special guest pianist François Bourassa is proud to perform the music of Dave Brubeck’s celebrated band. In 1950-60, very few American jazz artists have had as much influence and were as popular as Dave Brubeck. Playing some of the hit compositions "Take Five," "Blue Rondo a la Turk" and several other songs from the album Time Out are included in the program – one of the most famous and best-selling albums in the history of jazz.
Rémi Bolduc, considered one of Canada’s best jazz saxophonists, offers a formidable package of music that is intense and under control, breathtaking precision, magnetic stage presence with refreshing original compositions.
