Hot on the heels of the release of the live performance DVD/CD package One Night to Remember, Seal is once again bringing his silky smooth voice and ultra-polished pop/soul offerings to his fans. The gifted vocalist from Paddington, England, first burst on the scene in the U.K. with his 1991 self-titled debut and singles like “Crazy” and “Future Love Paradise.” But it wasn’t until the re-release, following its appearance on the Batman Forever soundtrack, of the song “Kiss from a Rose” that Seal became an international sensation. The tune, from his 1994 release Seal II, went on to win a Grammy for best single.
Since then, Seal has released Human Being and Seal IV (including the singles “Love’s Divine” and “Heavenly”), as well contributing vocals to Jakatta’s 2002 hit “My Vision.” The commercial and critical success of these records continued his reputation as a commanding vocalist whose voice finds newfound levels of soul and strength with every album. His live shows prove he is a master showman able to make a rare emotional connection with his audience.
